Sage have released updates for their accounting and payroll software.

To check the version of your  product, go to Help, About. The latest versions of the products are:

Xpress & Partner: Version 19.4.2
Pastel Payroll: 2024 Update 1b
Sage VIP: Release 6.0b
SBCPP: Release 6.0b
Pervasive: Version 13
Latest Features & Fixes - Pastel Xpress / Partner / 50c Accounting (19.4.2):
  • * Faster system speeds
  • * Security updates
  • * Compatibility updates for Windows 11
  • * Bug / error fixes
  • * Includes new domestic reverse charge tax rules
Latest Features & Fixes - Pastel Payroll (2024 update 1b):
  • * OID limit updated
  • * Users can now updated fund details using the Employee Batch Assistant
  • * ETI exception warning now includes imported employees younger than 18
  • * Retirement fund information fields can now be imported and exported
  • * A new report to provide information for retirement funds
  • * Repaired an error where periodic leave values didn't show for employees
  • * Repaired an ESS error with spaces in an employee or company record
  • * Repaired an error which prompts to enter a tax contact person in HR
  • * Error 3 won't appear when unselecting a company for Employment Verification
  • * The welcome balloon will no longer appear when deleting a company
Latest Features & Fixes - Sage VIP / SBCPP Payroll (release 6.0b):

  • * Updated retirement fund layouts for Old Mutual Superfund and Sentinel
  • * Repaired the status 22 error when doing an ETI take-on
  • * Repaired 12 month history report in Excel for total perks in prior months
  • * Repaired various other errors
Latest Features & Fixes - Pervasive Version 13:

Actian (the company that provides and develops Pervasive) no longer supports earlier Pervasive versions. Sage are therefore encouraging all of their clients to upgrade to Pervasive version 13.

  • * Pastel tables update faster and more reliably
  • * File structure less prone to corruption than previous versions
Your annual licence fee includes upgrades to the latest versions. Although the software is free, we will charge for time to upgrade your version. There may be a minimal charge to upgrade the Pervasive version.
